For the activist and scholar Dr. Georgina Falu, arketekcher completed a feasibility study for the Falu Foundation’s new headquarters. The new building would include two floors for a technology education center for adults, a childcare facility, and offices for the foundation. The design also includes 22 residential units on the upper floors to financially sustain the nonprofit’s operations.
Arketekcher worked closely with the owner and real estate attorney to bring in a development partner, and helped to establish the proforma for the development. The project will enter architectural design phases in 2022 once funding sources are finalized.
