Arketekcher is leading the design of 1 Croton Point, a 135,000 SF, five-story development in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Adjacent to the Croton-Harmon Metro-North Station, the project delivers 100 affordable homeownership units for households earning up to 80% AMI under the NYS HCR Affordable Homeownership Opportunity Program. The residences, a mix of one- and two-bedroom units, expand access to homeownership in a high-opportunity area. 100 parking spaces balance accessibility with a pedestrian-friendly, transit-oriented environment.

Residents will enjoy 4,860 SF of amenities, including a roof terrace with sweeping views of Croton Point Park and the Hudson River. The project also introduces Veterans Memorial Park, a new public space featuring benches, native plantings, and public art. Architecturally, the building blends an industrial character, with metal panels inspired by the adjacent railyard, and the warmer, textured quality of Croton’s built fabric, expressed through warm grey brick.

Selected through a competitive process, Arketekcher is providing full architectural services and leading a multidisciplinary team to bring this vision to life.
