Michael Bevivino

Michael Bevivino is an architect and co-founder of Arketekcher. As Design Principal, he brings over 18 years of experience across a wide range of project types, from large-scale retail developments to 605-unit affordable housing projects in Queens to more than 70 single-family homes throughout the New York Metropolitan Area. Michael’s approach centers on guiding clients toward their goals while fostering meaningful collaboration. His goal has always been to use his experience to build relationships with like-minded people who are dedicated to creating impactful, well-designed spaces.

His work has been recognized with multiple design awards, including from the AIA. He was also honored as a Top 40 Under 40 by Design:Retail, recognizing the industry’s most promising leaders and visionaries—he now serves on their Advisory Board.

Michael earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Syracuse University School of Architecture in 2003. He lives in Ossining, New York, with his wife and young son.

Madeline Clappin

Madeline Clappin is a designer, strategist, and co-founder of Arketekcher. As Strategic Director, she brings a passion for design and expertise in research, strategic planning, and business development. Her experience spans complex RFPs, feasibility studies for large developments, and guiding projects that balance vision with practical execution. Her deep understanding of people shapes Arketekcher’s commitment to collaboration and meaningful design.

Beyond her work at Arketekcher, Madeline serves as Co-Chair of the ULI NY Young Leaders Group’s Communications Committee. She co-founded and led the Waterfront Task Force, a collaboration between AIA NY and NYC’s Department of City Planning advocating for waterfront design. She was also a member of the AIA Unified Task Force, which coordinated architects’ nationwide response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Most recently, she was recognized as a 914-Mag Wunderkind, honoring impactful individuals under 35.

Madeline attended New York University, where she captained the Women’s Soccer Team. She splits her time between Rhode Island and Brooklyn with her partner and their two cats, Wolf & Bear.


Justin Davis

Justin Davis is a Senior Designer and Visual Artist at Arketekcher. His expertise in visual production, spanning renderings, 3D modeling, and physical model-making, is driven by both technical skill and a deep passion for design. With a diverse background in retail, residential, and commercial projects, he brings a well-rounded perspective to every phase of the design process. His experience in construction further strengthens his ability to bridge concept and execution.

Justin earned both his Bachelor and Master of Architecture from South Dakota State University. He now lives in Minneapolis


Jostin Sarmiento

Jostin Sarmiento is a Designer at Arketekcher. His expertise spans conceptual design, 3D modeling, and visualization, all driven by a strong commitment to thoughtful, sustainable, and human-centered design. With hands-on experience in both architecture and construction, he brings a practical understanding of how design ideas are translated into built form. He believes that great architecture comes from listening carefully, designing intentionally, and always pushing creative boundaries.

Jostin holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Architecture from Rochester Institute of Technology. He resides in Ossining, New York.
