Arketekcher completed a thorough concept design for the renovation of a natatorium, the surrounding landscape, and an addition of a covered deck and outdoor kitchen for a family in Harrison, NY. They wanted to blur the lines between interior and exterior, and create more opportunties to be outdoors.
The design utilzied panoramic multi-slide doors to open the entire side of the natatorium to a large patio and new outdoor kitchen. The existing deck is extended and covered to allow for more space while providing shelter from the sun and rain. The modifications to the home will allow for more time spent outdoors, swimming, cooking, and relaxing.
